Its a long shot i know… but who knows maybe posting this could help me out. Just graduated from cleveland state in december with a BA in marketing. Looking for a job but graigslist, monster and what not seem to be going no where. Its been said that the advertising market is very fickle. How do I ensure not biting the dust like countless others. What should be my primary focus from day 1?

What is it called when before you enter an isle into a store, theyll have certain items right before you enter the isle? do you know what Im saying?? Its called something like endcaps or something.

I mean when you pay advertising money to a site, such as, gold-clickers, where you pay and in return, supposedly, members of that site sign up for your website or affiliate program. You are supposed to get sign-ups and site members get “paid to sign-up”
I asked a somewhat similar version of this question earlier using the word ‘luck’. Unfortunately, that word alone was enough to give me answers from far “left field”, in which they had nothing to do at all with paid sign-up advertising.
It sounds like it should work like clock work, but I want to know if anyone has actually gotten sign-ups this way at all.
I thought that it would be worthwhile to ask this similar question that is posed in a way to make it sound appropriately clarified. There were two answers to my other version of the question, albeit I voted ‘No best answer’. None of the people who answered were even talking about experience with paid sign-ups working or not working for them.

I want to become a marketing manager and so im taking marketing and advertisment degree in university I know its the worst time to take this course because of the recession and there won’t be a lot of jobs so I was wandering what language would help me stand out if i learn it and maybe even work in that country

I’d be in my sophomore year. The Universities must be private and in the Miami area. Would you help me by telling me which one has the best marketing program? either NOVA, Barry, University of Miami, Johnson and Wales Univ, Northwood.
Your answer is pivotal because I’d make a loan for a huge amount of money for any of these Universities. I am a great student 3.91 GPA, unfortunately I don’t receive the desirable financial aid.
by the way, how do you feel about FIU?? Is it a good University for my degree? I am a little skeptical on the high number of students per class.

I live in Ohio right now, and I will be graduating college in May with a degree in marketing. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to live in North Carolina. I have heard from many people that Charlotte is the place for young professionals, so I have set my eye on there, but I would really do Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham. I have looked on Monster, CareerBuilder, the newspapers, etc and haven’t found anything that seems legit. So I am asking someone who lives in North Carolina or lived there who could help in pushing me in the right direction. Thanks so much!
