I have a BA in Literature (been out of college 3 yrs now) and have roughly one year of experience as a staff writer at a daily newspaper.
I love my job, but journalism doesn’t pay the bills and I have seen some great opportunities in the newspaper lately.
I know that I have what it takes (I could write better press releases than the one’s I have been seeing).
Any tips on how to get my foot in the door (not looking for marketing/advertising…thinking more like a small organization, govt, museum, etc).

I should not say decorating more like restyling services and my target market is small dr’s offices and pediatric offices and daycares….what i am doing is making the diff enviroment more kid/patient friendly….how the heck do i market my services please help me out! thank you in advance : 0 )

I am new to selling online. If you own an online business, what % of income (from this online business) you would be using for online marketing? Is there a normal range — say 20-40% to keep the business running, and more than 80% to grow the business more aggressively?

Ok I need to know once and for all what columns are included on my resume. Right now I have objective, experience, education and skills. Nothing else can fit on the resume but should I try to make room for my honors because I do have a lot of them. And also can i substitute my objective for a summary and what should it include? this is for a position in an office, data entry, marketing, advertising?

I own a new and gently used childrens store; I could not afford desirable location and cannot afford to compete with major companies in my area doing national marketing campaigns. I know I have a great product to offer, but am having problems getting the market presence my store needs? Please Help!!!

I have 75 credits with Southern New Hampshire University online, and am moving to NY with my boyfriend. I am not sure about the strength of SNHU’s reputation in the New York area, so applied and got accepted to both Baruch and St. Johns for their Marketing/Advertising programs. Should I transfer to Baruch/St. Johns? Which one of the NYC schools is better?
